We listen to the inside (history, environment, mode of life) of those who live in the land of Ezo, confront with the sincerity of the way they face nature and life. We are shared of the time to consider ourselves made alive by the preciousness of their life.

The act of humans entering the natural world ≒ will

The act of receiving (ending) the life ≒ readiness

The act of making the most of the life ≒ responsibility

Placing ourselves next to the lives and their blessing, we think of how we can have the consciousness and imagination of us being made alive as part of our daily lives.

蝦夷の土地に住むものたちの内部（歴史・環境・生態）に耳を傾ける。

その自然と生命に、真摯に向き合う「者」の生き様と対峙する。

命の尊さを、私達は、生き活かされていると想う時間を分けてもらう。

ニンゲンが自然界に入るという行為 ≒ 意志

其の生命を頂く（絶つ）という行為 ≒ 覚悟

其の絶たれた命を活かすという行為 ≒ 責任

私達は自然の営みとその恵みに自らを近づけることで、生かされているという「意識観」と「想像力」を如何にして日常の一部として持つことが出来るのかを考える。

Research Retreat: October 22nd – 25th, 2020 @ Memu

「寒冷地の伝統文化」と「命の循環」についてを食猟師とシャルキュティエ（命を余すことなく頂く手法を用いる・食肉加工職人）と共に考える。

蝦夷の土地、生態系を知り、其処に住むモノ達の想いに耳を傾け、自らが足を踏み入れた地に対しての責任と尊敬の心、命の尊さを学ぶ。

小野寺望（食猟師）

宮城県牡鹿半島でニホンジカの有害獣駆除を担い狩猟や野生食材などを採取しながら、食材とともに食材の育つ背景を伝える食猟師の小野寺望さん。

楠田裕彦（シャルキュティエ：食肉加工職人）

神戸、芦屋でハム・ソーセージの製造・販売をしているメツゲライ・クスダのオーナー、動物の生死（屠殺）と常に対峙し、その命を活かしきる、シャルキュティエ (食肉加工職人)の楠田裕彦さん

長谷耕平（狩猟師）

北海道十勝地方で鳥獣駆除の現場に関わりながら、「命を余すところなくいただく」という信念の元、鹿革製品の制作、鹿肉の販売に取り組む長谷耕平さん。
